Bohemian Baby

Sunday, 27 July 2014

Are you looking to create a nursery for a baby girl with a hint of vintage bohemian style? The key to this decorating style is to be bold with your choice of prints - team paisleys with polka dots, florals with geometric patterns & plain blocks of colour with punchy retro inspired prints. Add a colourful co-ordinating rug, a crochet blanket, source a few gorgeous prints from Etsy or a local craft market, and freshen up existing furniture or second-hand finds with a coat of paint. Avoid visual overload by ensuring there is a restful, neutral wall colour. When the cot quilt is no longer required it can be re-purposed as a great wall hanging for a little girl's bedroom.

Here is my selection of nursery pieces with a vintage bohemian vibe from the Cottonbox website!
